Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii) is native to Indonesia. Cinnamon contains essential oils, eugenol, safrole, cinnamaldehyde, tannin, calcium oxalate, dammar, calcium oxalate, flaphonoid, triterponoid, saponin and tanning agent. Cinnamon has many uses in the medical and food industries.
